Everyone has a story about the IWK Health Centre.  What’s yours?

Whether you’ve been a patient or are a family member, friend, or neighbour of someone who has been touched by the IWK, we invite you to share your IWK story with us.  

When you submit your story, it will be displayed on this website once it has been approved. Please note, however, that your contact information will be kept confidential.


Code of Conduct

  1. Please do not pretend to be someone else. If we find that you are impersonating another individual, your post will be removed immediately.
  2. If your comment does not go live instantly, it may have been blocked by a spam filter or it contains keywords that we will not allow to be posted (ex. Inappropriate language).
  3. Do not engage in personal attacks. It's important that you argue a specific point as opposed to attacking the person that made the point. Debates are welcome, personal attacks are not.
  4. Please keep on topic.
  5. Please don't shout at people (using all capital letters).
  6. We will not post comments that are spam, inappropriate, defamatory, use profanity, or otherwise violate our policies or disclaimer.
  7. We highly recommend reading your comments carefully before posting them. A second read can often help you make sure you are being clear about what you want to say and also iron out typos or errors that may be misread by people.
  8. We recommend being brief. A conversation will flow better and a posting will be read more carefully if you keep comments concise and to the point.
  9. We reserve the right to remove any comments that we deem, at our sole discretion, as inappropriate.
