Sharon is the Clinical Leader at the Children's Heart Centre at the IWK. She has worked as a nurse and health care practitioner at the IWK for over 30 years. During this time, Sharon has gained immense respect from colleagues and families. As a special tribute to her commitment she is a recipient of the Margaret Ross Award, which is awarded to an individual who displays exemplary nursing care to women, children, youth and their families. Every year, Sharon organizes Heart-Talk, a conference for families of children at the IWK’s Maritime Heart Centre.
