Mike Sangster
"When a child takes steps for the first time, or takes steps again for the first time, there are no words to describe it. Often we're all in tears. It's truly amazing to be able to be with people for these moments."
Mike is a physiotherapist with the Children’s Health team at the IWK. He is passionate about patient care. Every day, he guides children through physiotherapy exercises. Mike’s approach includes encouraging children to draw him a picture or write a story to describe and explain the pain they are feeling.
